In running and maintaining our website we collect and process the following data about you:

How BUG will use your information

BUG is extremely careful with the information you provide to us, recognising that it is your information – that you chose to share with us and not anyone else.

We only use the information that we collect from you to provide our services to you. In addition we may use the information for one or more of the following purposes:

to provide information that you ask us for about our services and what BUG does
to provide information to you about any other services that might be of interest based on what you have asked us to provide previously. This additional information will only be provided where you have consented to receive it

to inform you about any changes to our website or services – or opportunities about which you have expressed interest previously

Where you provide information as part of surveys carried out independently by BUG, it will be combined with all the information provided by others and your individual input will not be identified or linked to you personally. Even if you put your name on a questionnaire when you complete it, this will be kept separately and only used by BUG in the way you have said you wanted it to be used eg to send you a copy of the completed report.

BUG will maintain any personal data you provide to us within the organisation and will not provide it to any third party.

If you send information to BUG via the internet or e-mail, please be aware that we cannot guarantee its security during transit. However, once received, information will be stored according to data protection law.

BUG’s website may contain links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over those other websites. Access to information

In line with the Data Protection Act 1998 you have the right to access any information that BUG holds relating to you. We do reserve the right to charge a fee of £10 to cover costs in providing you with the information.
